VATLL Annual Conference

Scott Habeeb has worked for Salem (VA) City Schools since 1997.  He served at Salem High for 26 years, as a teacher and principal. In 2023, Scott was appointed Coordinator for Alternative and Online Programs, where he serves as the alternative school principal while overseeing online, homebound, and GED students.     
Scott regularly speaks at schools and conferences about Freshman Transition, Formative Assessment, Standards Based Learning, School Leadership, and Going Beyond the Content to inspire and motivate students.  
Scott is the author or co-author of several articles and the co-author of The Ninth Grade Opportunity: Transforming Schools from the Bottom Up.
