Michael Perry serves as principal of Berkeley Glenn Elementary School in Waynesboro, Virginia. A former Virginia State Trooper turned educator, Michael brings a unique perspective on leadership, trust-building, and human behavior. His experiences in both law enforcement and education have shaped a leadership philosophy centered on connection, consistency, and relationships. He is passionate about helping educators strengthen school culture, navigate difficult conversations, and create environments where both students and adults can thrive. Michael has served in a variety of educational leadership roles and enjoys sharing practical strategies that educators can immediately apply in their schools and classrooms.
