Kimberly Nurse is an accomplished educational leader and an Assistant Principals at Tallwood High School in Virginia Beach City Public Schools. With more than two decades of experience in education, she has served in various roles, including Special Education Teacher, AVID Elective Teacher, and AVID Coordinator, consistently demonstrating an unwavering commitment to student achievement, equity, and educational excellence.A passionate advocate for student success, Kimberly was recognized as Kempsville High School's Teacher of the Year and was later honored as the Virginia Beach City Public Schools Citywide Teacher of the Year. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to creating learning environments where students feel empowered, supported, and challenged to reach their fullest potential.As an instructional leader, Kimberly is known for fostering collaboration, inspiring innovation, and building meaningful relationships with students, families, and educators.
