Jason S. Chandler is the Director of Secondary Education for Prince George County Public Schools in Prince George, Virginia, where he provides division-level leadership for secondary curriculum, instruction, and school improvement. A lifelong educator with more than two decades of experience in Virginia public schools, Mr. Chandler began his career as a classroom teacher and athletic trainer in Prince George County before moving into school leadership.His administrative career has spanned multiple divisions and grade levels. He served as Assistant Principal in Franklin City Public Schools before being named Principal of S.P. Morton Elementary School, then Principal of Dinwiddie Middle School in Dinwiddie County Public Schools. He returned to Prince George County as Principal of L.L. Beazley Elementary School and then Principal of N.B. Clements Junior High School. He subsequently moved into the central office as Associate Director of Curriculum and Assessment before assuming his current role as Director of Secondary Education in 2021.Mr. Chandler earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Athletic Training from Longwood University, his Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Averett University, and a Post-Master's Certificate and Education Specialist degree in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from The George Washington University. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership at Liberty University.
