About me
Jaime Stacy is an Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at the University of Virginia, where she prepares aspiring school and system leaders in instructional leadership, leadership theory, strategic planning, resource alignment, and organizational change. She brings more than 25 years of experience as a teacher, school administrator, professional learning specialist, workshop presenter, program director, and instructional designer.Her scholarship and professional practice center on transformative leadership—helping educational leaders examine inequitable systems, engage communities as partners, and translate moral purpose into sustainable action. She has developed a framework that integrates transformative leadership and design thinking to help leaders identify the right problems, co-design equitable solutions, and align people, time, and financial resources with strategic priorities.Dr. Stacy also supports executive leadership development through Partners for Leadership in Education in conjunction with UVA's Darden School of Business, where she shares her experience as a practitioner through case study writing, workshop facilitation, and thought partnership with schools, districts, and state-level organizations.
