With more than two decades of experience in education and human services, Heather Cofflin is an educational leader committed to ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive. Currently serving as an elementary school principal, Heather brings over 10 years of administrative leadership experience which includes fostering school cultures imbedded with high expectations and family engagement.Before entering school administration, Heather served as a special education teacher and district leader, developing expertise and assisting with growing educators to meet the needs of all students in all grade levels. Prior to a career in education, Heather worked as a foster care social worker, advocating for children and families while navigating complex social experiences. These experiences shaped a deep understanding of the importance of building strong relationships, addressing barriers to learning and life, and creating equitable opportunities for all students.Throughout a career spanning classrooms, district leadership, and school administration, Heather has remained focused on empowering educators, partnering with families, and cultivating environments where every child is challenged to achieve their highest potential. Heather is passionate about developing resilient school communities that celebrate each student's strengths while maintaining unwavering expectations for academic and personal growth.
