About me
Dr. DeAnna Moreau is currently the Program Director for Math is FigureOutAble where she supports school districts that are using the Math is FigureOutAble Systems Solution for professional learning. Dr. Moreau previously served as the K-5 Math Curriculum Specialist for Chesterfield County Public Schools and the K-12 Math Instructional Specialist for Colonial Heights City Schools. In 2025, she was recognized as the Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics (VCTM) Math Specialist of the Year, honoring her statewide leadership in advancing reasoning-based mathematics instruction. She currently serves as Past-President of the Virginia Council of Mathematics Supervisors (VCMS), leading statewide efforts to strengthen mathematics teaching and learning.
