Becca Silver is a Resistance Specialist and the author of The Resistance Solution: Why Educators Resist Change and What They Need Instead (Soro Publishing, 2026, foreword by Steve Barkley). As founder and CEO of The Whole Educator, a national consulting firm, she partners with principals, division leaders, and instructional coaches to lead change without leaving people behind. With more than 20 years in education as a teacher, instructional coach, and leadership coach, she helps leadership teams diagnose the human side of stalled initiatives and build cultures of ownership rather than compliance. She holds a Master's in Organizational Leadership and Learning with an emphasis on Human Development, previously trained districts nationwide with Mindset Works, and speaks for ASCD, Learning Forward, SREB, and state departments of education. She believes that to teach the whole child, we must support the whole educator.
