Moving beyond the margins means moving beyond isolated initiatives to create a unified system where every decision supports teaching, learning, and student success. This session shares how Nelson County Middle School and Nelson County High School aligned leadership, instructional practices, master scheduling, PLCs, data teams, and high-quality instructional materials to strengthen instructional coherence and cultivate a positive school culture. Participants will explore strategies that fostered stronger educator collaboration, increased student engagement and attendance, reduced discipline referrals, and created the conditions for continuous improvement. Attendees will leave with practical tools, adaptable resources, and leadership strategies to strengthen outcomes in their own schools and divisions.
